L'Atelier Sur-Mesure isn't a wedding fair. It's one evening at the Metcalfe Hotel with the artisans behind bespoke weddings in Ottawa; the ring designers, tailors, dressmakers, photographers and planners who still make things by hand, one couple at a time.
The evening:
◆ Sit down with a custom ring designer. Talk stones, settings, and what actually suits your hand — whether you're choosing it together or quietly making sure he gets it right.
◆ Watch a ring being made, from sketch to setting.
◆ Meet the dressmakers, tailors, photographers and planners you'd otherwise spend months hunting down.
◆ Ask anything. Try things on. Leave with a shortlist and a plan instead of forty open tabs.
Bring your partner. Bring your mum. Bring the friend with opinions.
Refreshments and music. No booths, no clipboards, nobody asking you to sign anything on the night.
