If you’ve ever loved Flow yoga, Vinyasa, creative sequencing or the feeling of getting completely absorbed in a long practice, this one is for you.Delamay Devi is an international Prana Vinyasa teacher trainer and long-time assistant to Shiva Rea, teaching and training teachers around the world for nearly two decades.
Prana Flow grew from the vinyasa tradition and was developed by Shiva Rea into a fluid, intelligent approach to practice that works with breath, rhythm, energetic pathways, wave sequencing and the natural intelligence of the body. It has had a huge influence on the way modern Flow yoga is taught.
Lasya Tandava explores the meeting point between softness and strength.
Lasya brings fluidity, receptivity and the more lunar qualities of practice. Tandava brings heat, power, expansion and fire. Over nearly three hours, Delamay will weave these together through intelligent sequencing, mudra, mantra, movement meditation and progressive asana.
This can be a dynamic, strong and challenging practice, with plenty to learn whether you are a committed practitioner or a yoga teacher. Expect creative transitions, intelligent progressions and time to properly explore the practice rather than rush through it.
There will be some of the mystical stuff too — philosophy, mantra, mudra, elemental awareness — woven into a very practical, physical Flow practice.
