This year we've invited our friends from CWTU, Frank Hornberg TU, Shaw-Paca TU, and WI DNR Wild Rose Fisheries Crew to enjoy the last weekend of the Inland Trout Season with us before we leave the fish alone to move to their spawning grounds and add the next generation of trout to our favorite streams!FVTU Members - you are all cordially invited to the last weekend of trout season picnic social and fishing day! Come join us on Saturday October 10th for fishing and fellowship as we take advantage of the last weekend of trout fishing in 2026. A lunch of brats, hot dogs, and hamburgers is scheduled at the Beck Shelter at Bird Creek Park in Wautoma, WI from Noon - 1pm. Fish in the areas surrounding Wautoma before lunch or after lunch or both - your choice! Bring a lawn chair for lunch or plan to use the available picnic tables and spend some time talking about your memories and fish tales from this trout season....... The chapter will provide all food and soft drinks and you are welcome to invite friends and family. Fishing is not mandatory if you just want to get out for the day and socialize with your fellow chapter members.
Please notify Jerome Herro, by email, text, or phone if you plan to attend and how many people are in your group. Please RSVP to Jerome by 5pm on October 7th so we can secure food and drinks! This is important for lunch planning and in the event of a cancellation. Contact information is as follows: [email protected] and (920) 815-7818
