About this Event
Welcome to the Last Thursday Club!
A monthly evening of storytelling on - you guessed it - the last Thursday of every month.
Created by acclaimed writer-performers Roann Hassani McCloskey and James Rowland.
A gay Arab and a Viking-looking fella (both award-winning storytellers) invite you to an uplifting night celebrating one of the most human things we do: connecting through stories.
What to expect
An evening of brilliant, true storytelling, with three guest storytellers and open mic spots for anyone brave enough to jump in and share a story of their own.
Think: the warmth and joy of swapping stories with friends in your living room… but now there’s a mic, an excellent host and a slightly longer walk home at the end of the night.
Last Thursday Club is coming to Manchester!
After five years of storytelling in London, Last Thursday Club is adding Manchester to the mix, kicking things off with its Manchester premiere on Thursday 24 September from 7pm at Grounded Café in Cringle Park.
Hosted by Roann Hassani McCloskey and James Rowland, the night will feature three guest storytellers, with names to be announced soon.
To mark the occasion, this event will be completely free! This is for the first Manchester edition only, so advance booking is strongly encouraged as spaces are limited.
