Plymouth Laughter Lab returns to the Devonport Playhouse with a huge night of live stand-up, bringing two of the UK’s most exciting and respected comedians to the stage for one unforgettable evening.Headlining the show is Larry Dean, the multi-award-winning Scottish comedian known for his brilliantly sharp writing, fast-paced delivery, and effortlessly likeable stage presence. With appearances on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, House of Games and Roast Battle, Larry has built a reputation as one of the most consistently impressive performers on the UK circuit. His material is personal, intelligent, and packed with huge laugh moments.
Joining the bill is the outstanding Marcus Brigstocke, a comedy heavyweight whose razor-sharp political wit and fearless storytelling have made him a familiar face across British television and radio. From Live at the Apollo and Have I Got News For You to his many acclaimed national tours, Marcus combines intelligence and bite with warmth and energy, creating a performance that is both thought-provoking and laugh-out-loud funny.
Hosting the evening is Rich Wilson, one of the most in-demand MCs in the country and winner of the Comics’ Comic Award for Best MC 2025. A master of crowd work and atmosphere, Rich ensures the night flows perfectly, keeping the energy high from start to finish.
