Come together to light our lights against the gathering darkness. Hear the story of St Martin, sing some songs, and walk through the woods with your lantern. Then back to the porch for soup potluck. Very family and child friendly, open to all.
BRING:
- a lantern (I will post some ideas in the event if you want to make one) - I will also have a few extra should anyone arrive in need of one.
- good shoes - it can be muddy- and a warm coat
- bowl or mug and spoon for yourself
- your smiling face
Optional bring:
- food to share (there will be lots, including a vegetarian and a non-veg hot soup, bread, and cheese from us)
- song, poem, prayer, or thought on the theme of bringing light to darkness, community support, etc
Yes, you can bring friends! Please park alongside the road (carefully!)
