Join us for an evening of vision and celebration at our annual fall benefit featuring guest speaker Jeremy Tate, founder and CEO of the Classical Learning Test. Since 2015, Tate has championed the renewal of American education through a return to the classical purpose of education, the cultivation of wisdom and virtue.
At a recent event at Pepperdine University, Tate shared about the inspiration for creating an alternative college entrance exam to the traditional SAT/ACT offerings: “I wanted to solve the problem I saw happening in education,” said Tate. “While a test is probably never going to change a single student's life, a school changes a student's life. And a test has a big influence on a school remaining faithful to its mission. If we care about the future of our country, we have to care about how we educate the next generation.”
As the classical Christian education movement spreads across the country, CLT saw an explosion of popularity in 2024, rising from 25,000 test takers to 250,000 nationwide, including the nation’s prestigious service academies. Today, over 350 colleges and universities across the United States and abroad, including U.S. Military Service Academies and 5 state university systems (AR, FL, GA, IN, & NC), recognize the value of the CLT, and the excellence of CLT and CLT10 test takers.
