About this Event
Join Us for Lancaster Refuge's Multicultural Thanksgiving!
Lancaster Refuge is holding a Multicultural Thanksgiving to celebrate the many things we are thankful for -- like friends, family, and food!
Afghan refugee families, volunteers who have been welcoming them, and other friends are invited to this fun event centered around food, people, and culture. We will enjoy a meal catered by a Syrian refugee as well as dishes from our Afghan neighbors, "stations" to learn about various aspects of Afghan culture, and fellowship through shared music and dance.
The agenda for the evening is as follows; please feel free to join us for part or all of the evening as your schedule allows!
5:00-6:00pm Guests arrive, time to visit stations and participate in a thankfulness activity
6:00-7:00pm Welcome and dinner
7:00-8:00pm Music and dancing
