Lancaster Farming + Sunflower present One Plant

FILM SYNOPSIS:

After losing his mother to alcohol and opioid addiction, filmmaker and hemp farmer, Jordan is left searching for answers.

What begins as a personal search quickly evolves into something much larger. Setting out with a camera, he travels across the country, meeting farmers, scientists, doctors, builders, and entrepreneurs working to reintroduce hemp as a valuable resource for food, medicine, materials, and agriculture.

Along the way, ONE PLANT reveals a complex and often overlooked story, one that challenges long held assumptions and explores how this single plant intersects with some of today’s most pressing issues, from climate change and health to sustainability and the systems that shape how we live.

ONE PLANT is a story of loss and rediscovery, asking not just what this plant can do, but what it might mean if we continue to overlook it.

Info: Come say hi before we take our seats for the first screening of the day.

Info: We'll have a short break, followed by time for Q&A with director Jordan Berger and others from the film. This will also be an opportunity to learn from others in the industrial hemp community. Folks attending either screening are welcome to join us at this time.
