Lament Event is an in-person somatic ritual for anyone carrying grief, emotion, or something unfinished.
Lament Event
Thursday, October 29 · NOSOTROS · 6:30–9:30pm
This is an invitation to move what has been held, felt, swallowed, carried, or left unfinished. There is no right way to lament and nothing you need to perform.
Emotions are invited. Grief is welcome. Catharsis is invoked. Relief is possible.
The Evening
- 6:30pm: Doors open; arrive with enough time to settle in.
- 7pm: The 60-minute guided somatic ritual begins, using movement, sound, breath, and release. Doors close at 7pm, and no one will be admitted once the event begins.
- After the ritual, slow down with tea by Milk Thistle, conversation, and time to land, connect, and share.
- An altar created by Roadkill Reno & friends.
- A closing dance party with DJ Jen DM, bringing us back into our bodies and carrying us through to 9:30pm.
