In 2011 I discovered the world of social bikeway touring with a local Cleveland group called Spokes N' Jokes - still in operation and "Cleveland's oldest running social bike riding group on Meetup" (Check them out if you are in the area). From that experience, years later while living in Columbus, was born the idea of CycleNuts - a multi-state smart-guided bikeway cycling organization. Enjoy this 20-mile TAB (There-And-Back) cycling adventure primarily on the magnificent Rocky River Reservation Multi-use Trail set within the Rocky River Valley Metropark - part of Cleveland's Emerald Necklace. The green center-lined bikeway follows the lay of the land, winding alongside the Rocky River through woods and fields with just enough inclines to make good use of your bike's gearing.

The Emerald Necklace borders the greater Cleveland area. Once one descends into the lavish wooded greenery of the valley the city noise racket is replaced with the sounds of rushing river rapids, the chatter of multiple sorts of wildlife inhabitants, and the everchanging joyful sounds and aromas of people playing ball, cooking out, and celebrating the great outdoors. And even, at times, as one travels along the Emerald Necklace bikeway, just the gentle symphony of nature.
