Interested in gardening in Central Florida?
The Lakeland Camellia Society will hold its October meeting on Tuesday, October 13, at 6:45 PM at the Central Florida Baptist Association Building (2120 Sylvester Rd, Lakeland). Our meetings are free, friendly, and open to all skill levels.
What to Expect:
• Educational Feature: Tips on caring for japonicas, sasanquas, and hybrid varieties.
• Interactive Q&A: Bring your questions, photos, or plant health concerns for expert troubleshooting.
• Gardening Fellowship: Network with local growers and stay updated on regional flower shows and plant sales.
• Plant raffle: Win a camellia to add to your garden.
The October program will feature a Florida Master Gardener who will speak about pollinators with a focus on Florida-Friendly Landscaping.
Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome!
