DEC’s Great Lakes Program is planning a Lake Erie Sub-Basin Work Group meeting at Ellicott Creek Park’s Friendship House on Monday, November 16, 2026, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, with an optional tour of Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper's Ellicott Island Park Living Shoreline Restoration project from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
Tentative meeting objectives include sharing DEC Regional and Great Lakes Program updates, hearing updates from partners, reviewing and discussing sub-basin toolkit progress, as well as discussing upcoming funding and collaboration opportunities.
We encourage you to participate in the GLAA Work Group Survey to help us facilitate collaboration with work group members and provide access to the Southwest Lake Ontario Sub-Basin Work Group SharePoint, where an Index of Partners based on responses and other resources are available for work group members. Reviewing the materials in SharePoint in advance can help partners be better prepared for meeting discussions.
