The multi-award winning vocalist, pianist, songwriter and CBC national radio host Laila Biali is thrilled to debut her brand new tribute project Dreamland: The Canadian Songbook Reimagine. This will be a memorable evening filled with covers of Canadian musical icons. Audiences will be treated to fresh takes on the songs of Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, k.d. lang and more, all centred around the heart of this show: prairie royalty, Joni Mitchell. Come experience why the Washington Post hails Biali for her unique ability to "masterfully mix jazz and pop", interweaving your favourite Canadian classics with playful anecdotes and heartwarming stories. Laila will be backed by George Koller (bass), and Ben Wittman (drums).
