This September, the highly anticipated Des Moines, IA based band Lady Bleek will make their full band debut at XBK with their first album release show — a relationship 8 years in the making, Addie Bolles and Kevin Neal weave together themes of enmeshment and abuse, emancipation, acceptance, and someday experiencing love with new eyes.
Their music is imbued with that nostalgic resonance of the classics, while marking the genre with their signature Indie Americana sound. Stripped down guitar meets with profound lyrical depth to give audiences an experience that is spiritual as it is grounding; relatable as it is arcane. Lady Bleek is an old souled musician with a youthful energy that makes their performances enchanting and irresistible, making this debut the start of a career audiences will want to follow closely. The self-titled album is set to release digitally on August 19th, 2026
