Women at the Helm – Silver Seas Yachts Powerboat Training Experience
Join us in person for an exciting day on the water! This unique event is all about empowering women to take the wheel and master powerboat skills. Whether you're a newbie or just looking to boost your confidence, our fun and supportive training experience has got you covered. What to Expect
11:00 AM – Welcome & Introduction
Begin in the upstairs conference room at CRC Marinas where Captain Chris will lead a short classroom-style session covering boating fundamentals, safety, and operating basics.
12:00 PM – Lunch & Networking
Enjoy a relaxed lunch while connecting with other women in the Newport Beach boating community.
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Hands-On Boating Experience
Participants will be divided into two small groups for on-the-water training aboard Saxdor boats provided by Silver Seas Yachts.
Each group will rotate through hands-on instruction with professional captains covering:
- Basic boat handling
- Docking techniques
- Maneuvering in tight spaces
- Confidence at the helm
