Katherine Pappano is a foster parent with Beta Foster Care and had a very rewarding foster care experience that was not without its challenges. She continues to advocate for more families to explore a calling to become foster parents (resource parents) just like herself.

This fundraiser supports Beta Foster Care, a local Foster Family Agency located in Laguna Hills, CA. Beta Foster Care is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. In 1988, Beta Foster Care was one of the first private nonprofit Treatment Foster Family Agencies to be licensed in Orange County. Beta Foster Care has remained in Orange County ever since and continues to provide enriched foster care services for some of our most vulnerable foster children and young adults in the community. To be successful in meeting the foster care placement needs of these vulnerable young people, it takes a village of caring adults—the hallmark of our program.

Info: Craig Zacuto, M.A., LMFT is the founder and executive director of Beta Foster Care. He has over four decades of professional experience in the foster care industry, including his experience as a former Child Protective Services Social Worker in San Bernardino County. He continues his work as a supervisor for staff and provides training for applicant Resource families.
