You’re invited:The Labyrinth Ontario annual fundraiser returns! It feels most fitting to host it at the Tranzac, the home base of our monthly residency and a hub for nurturing artistic expression.
For this event we will be expanding into the main hall, with performances by Iranian Folios of Dastgāh and Turkish music luminaries Yahya Geylan and Canan Sezgin Geylan. Additional activities will include a CD sale from a vintage selection of makam/makam-adjacent genres and silent auction!

Money raised from our annual fundraiser supports us to keep paying artists fair wages - fully two thirds of our annual budget goes directly to artists and arts workers. Public funding can’t support everything we do, which is why those in our community who have the means to contribute are so important: you help make our activities accessible to those with fewer means, which is a vital community building block.
“Ensemble” means “together” and that’s the message that drives Labyrinth Ontario in 2026. This is an exciting time for us and all the musicians, teachers and especially audience members we’ve connected with over the years. We are about to take our next steps together on this collective journey, and we need your support.
