About this Event
We’re a city of many voices, traditions, histories, and stories. To honor all the threads that weave together to make Los Angeles what it is, we host our LA Voices series at the Ebell: six free Sunday performances that celebrate the communities that make this city extraordinary. From music and dance to storytelling and performance, each event offers a chance to experience something new and connect with a different part of our city. Throughout our 2026/2027 season, we’ll welcome local cultural organizations into The Ebell to share their distinctive perspectives across six separate Sundays at no cost to you. Explore the series. SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25: Celebrate California Hanbok Day Come enjoy the beauty, history, and evolving spirit of Korean fashion in a special event presented in partnership with the Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles. Experience Hanbok as both living heritage and contemporary art through:
- A short film exploring the history and cultural significance of Hanbok
- Live performances featuring artists dressed in Hanbok
- A mini fashion show showcasing traditional and contemporary Hanbok designs
- Reflections on California Hanbok Day and Hanbok’s enduring place in Korean culture
