Kyle Joe
Kyle Joe is a Michigan singer/songwriter that is difficult to pidgeonhole. Having released indie-folk records as Chain of Lakes since 2010, he has branched out of late, with an original folk musical, a collection of children’s songs (The Real Humdingers), co-writes with other artists (Spencer LaJoye, Sadie Campbell, Drew Hale, Andy Sydow, Between Two Voices), and a deep dive into the world of healing/medicine music with The Vital Hive (thevitalhive.org). Critical accolades include multiple Kerrville Newfolk Songwriting finalist nods - including a 2022 win - and a pair of Album of the Year awards (WYCE). KJ enjoys teaching songwriting workshops and hanging with his three inspiring daughters.
