LA JOLLA, CALIFORNIA — September 20, 2026 — La Jolla Cars & Coffee is more than a gathering of extraordinary automobiles. What began as a passion project between father and son Craig Lotzof and his son, Max Lotzof, has grown into a community-driven event bringing together automotive enthusiasts, families, collectors, local businesses and some of the most recognized names in San Diego's automotive world.
The vision is simple: celebrate an extraordinary passion for automobiles, inspire the next generation and give back to the community.
From rare and collectible automobiles to classic cars, European sports cars, exotics, American muscle, high-performance vehicles and enthusiast-owned cars, La Jolla Cars & Coffee welcomes automotive enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds.

INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION
At the heart of La Jolla Cars & Coffee is a simple belief: every child should have the opportunity to experience, explore and be inspired by the world of automobiles.
The event is intentionally designed to be welcoming to children and families from all backgrounds and communities.
A child may see their first Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Bentley or Bugatti. A teenager fascinated by mechanics may have the opportunity to speak with an enthusiast or automotive professional. Another young person may discover an interest in design, engineering, technology, entrepreneurship or restoration.
For some children, a car may simply be something they see on the street. At Cars & Coffee, it can become a doorway to curiosity, imagination and possibility.
“We want children to walk away from Cars & Coffee saying, ‘I want to learn more,’” said Lotzof. “Maybe one day they become an engineer, designer, mechanic, business owner, collector or automotive professional. You never know what one experience can inspire.”
EVERY MONTH, A DIFFERENT CAUSE
La Jolla Cars & Coffee is equally committed to making a meaningful difference beyond the automobiles.
Each month, the gathering will spotlight and support a local nonprofit, charity or community cause, creating an opportunity for attendees, sponsors, collectors and local businesses to give back together.
