Come and celebrate The Day of the Dead with the Dance of the Dead - a ritual and a dance: 🌹🥀💀 LA DANZA DE LOS MUERTOS 💀🥀🌹
This is healing through letting go like the leaves that fall, wither, rot and let new things grow, Mayan style. Cacao, calaveritas and ecstatic dance!
Mexican artist and poet Karla Ontiveros Flora crossed the Atlantic to be with us and guide us through the ritual. She brings with her from Mexico her duendes, Mayan ceremonial cocoa, copal incense and everything needed to make a beautiful room for celebration, transition and transformation.
We are joining forces with our friends at Folkekøkkenet, Trøjborg Beboerhus!
16.00: Community kitchen cooking. If you can, bring some vegetables! 🧅
19.00: Community kitchen dinner. If you don’t join the cooking: Bring a dish, a snack or a voluntary donation if you can. 🍲
20.00: Ceremony (doors are closed between 20.00 and 21.00)🔥

You are of course very welcome to come just for the ceremony, and the community kitchen is, as always every Sunday, open to all.

♥️ ☕️ NOTE: It will be a great help if you set your attendance to GOING before the 1st of November if you are going to the ceremony - for us to have an idea how many to prepare for! ☕️ ♥️
Karla's invitaion:
~ The Dance of the Dead is the flame of life and the call for life. It symbolises life and that we never darken our fire. To ignite it with purpose liberates our fears and connects with our ancestors and the spiritual world in order for us to remember them and for them to look at us from the spiritual realm with love. The Mayan cacao will open our hearts. ♥️ The copal will open the doors to intuition and perception. A unique experience from Mexico to Denmark. ~
Everyone is of course welcome to take part regardless of their religious or spiritual beliefs - the ritual is not bound to any established system of beliefs as such, and you are invited to respectfully live and interpret the ritual in a way that aligns with you.
Thanks very much to @AMOK2.0 and Trøjborg Beboerhus for venues and to @kvindelig for support! 💜
