About this Event
Our Level 3 Award in Education & Training is designed for anyone looking to start teaching, training or delivering learning to adults.
Delivered over 12 weeks, with one evening session each week, the course gives you time to build your knowledge, practise your skills and develop confidence without having to complete everything in an intensive block.
Throughout the course, you will explore the key principles of teaching and learning, understand the responsibilities of a trainer, and learn how to plan, deliver and assess effective learning sessions.
You can expect a supportive and practical learning environment with discussion, group activities, teaching practice and opportunities to develop your own delivery style.

The 12-week format allows you to apply what you learn between sessions and return with questions, reflections and ideas to develop further.
You will also complete teaching practice during the course, giving you the opportunity to plan and deliver a session in a supportive environment and receive constructive feedback.
Our trainers bring real-world teaching and training experience into the classroom and focus on helping you develop practical skills that you can use in your own subject area.
The course is suitable for aspiring trainers, workplace instructors, first aid trainers, assessors, coaches and anyone considering a move into education or training.
No previous teaching qualification is required.
By the end of the 12 weeks, our aim is for you to leave with a recognised Level 3 teaching qualification and, more importantly, the confidence to stand in front of a group and deliver learning effectively.
