From sand dunes to Twin Peaks: Kyle MacLachlan has graced our screens for decades, in many different forms: a calm but determined detective on Twin Peaks, a clueless husband on Sex and the City, a quirky mayor on Portlandia and most recently, a social media star. Now, he tells his own story in his new memoir. Featuring lessons learned the hard way about ambition, love, and fatherhood, this memoir is an honest look into the remarkable—and often unpredictable—life of an enduring and endearing Hollywood icon.
To make this event safe and enjoyable for all attendees, please read the below guidelines ahead of buying a ticket, so you know what to expect on the day. To avoid disappointment, we must stress that there will be no access to the event for non-ticketholders.
GUIDELINES
- This is a photo-op and meet & greet event.
- Books will be pre-signed.
- No memorabilia will be signed.
- A BN bookseller will take photos on the ticket holder's phone or camera.
- Purchasing a ticket is required to attend.
- No large bags will be permitted into the event. Please leave your bags in your vehicle.
- Barnes & Noble may cancel this event at any time with or without notice to the ticket holders.

Ticket holders will be admitted into the event beginning at 3:00 PM on the day of the event. Please have a copy of your ticket available (either printed out or on your phone) for check-in. Stop by the help desk on the first floor to find the check-in location.

There is a limit of one ticket per person. If you exceed or attempt to exceed the posted ticket limits, we reserve the right to cancel, without notice, any or all orders and tickets, in addition to prohibiting your ticket purchasing abilities. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number, or other information. Any tickets canceled due to violating the posted ticket limit may be refunded at face value (excluding fees).
ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES
- Some outside queuing may be required, so please come dressed appropriately for all weather.
- The exact time at which the event ends will be determined on the day.
- To avoid disappointment, we strongly advise you to arrive on time for the event. Late arrivals may not have the opportunity to enter the event space.
- Due to health and safety and space limitations, those without a ticket will not be permitted to join the queue.

REFUNDS
Attendees can receive refunds up to 1 day before the event.
If you are unable to attend the event, Barnes & Noble - The Grove will hold your book for seven days after the event. Please contact the store to arrange your pickup.
