About this Event
This FAASTeam safety seminar will provide an in-depth review of the different types of airspeed and altitude used in aviation, including pressure-based and GPS-derived data, pitot-static systems, airspeed indicator markings, aircraft performance, and the limitations of GPS.
The Seminar will be presented by Donna Knighton, an experienced aircraft performance and flying qualities engineer, CFI, and FAASTeam representative.
The meeting is open to pilots and flight instructors, and 1.5 WINGS Advanced Knowledge credits are available. Refreshments will be provided.
