About Kwasi
Growing up in regional Australia, Kwasi developed a unique relationship with creativity, finding solace and belonging through music, film and storytelling. Today, he blends alternative hip-hop with punk energy, indie textures and cinematic production into a sound entirely his own.
His music has earned support from Apple Music, triple j, Clash Magazine, Complex, EARMILK, Pilerats and MILKY, while taking him to performances across Australia, London, Brighton, Manila and Cebu.
Outstanding MISFIT is his debut album and most ambitious project to date—a multimedia body of work exploring identity, belonging and the experience of feeling like an outsider. THE SCORE is the album's live premiere, designed to be experienced inside a cinema where music and film become one.
