KURT CALDWELL
Kurt Caldwell is a Kansas based acoustic singer-songwriter. He developed his skills in Atlanta over the course of 12 years, and perfected them in Baltimore for 12 more. It was in these cities that he developed his singing style and melodicism by performing in many original hard-edged bands. After moving to the Kansas City area to raise 2 boys, Kurt’s style settled to a more stripped-down, heart-felt, and acoustically-driven sound. His diverse music catalog sets a relaxed atmosphere, but he can rock into a heavy-driven cover song when the mood calls for it. He is very attuned to the desires of his audience, and it is not uncommon to hear a 60’s classic followed by a modern day radio hit. Kurt has an expansive song list and his originals come from a dynamic emotional intensity.
