About this Event
Seattle is a city at a crossroads. Caught between a tech industry building cutting-edge AI and ongoing layoffs at some of the region’s largest employers, Seattle workers face difficult questions: What is the future of my job? How can AI unlock new ways of working without replacing me? And what role should government play in a period of rapid technological disruption?
Join KUOW’s Booming hosts Joshua McNichols and Monica Nickelsburg on Thursday, February 18 at 6:30 p.m. at The Seattle Public Library’s Central Library for a conversation with leaders in public policy, labor, and tech. Together, they’ll explore how AI is transforming workplaces across the region and what Seattle can do to “futureproof” its economy and its workforce.
Featured guests to be announced soon.
