Best for beginner and intermediate skill levels but everyone is welcome.ContentMaking a small wooden puzzle.This program is about learning interlocking joinery.And providing a introduction to skills in "marking-out" and Japanese saw and chisel hand tools.Well suited for beginners. What is "Kumiki"?Kumiki describes the Japanese woodworking technique of connecting and interlocking wooden pieces (in the absence of glue and nails) to produce a strong, aesthetically pleasing and curiosity creating new piece. Its ability to accommodate the continual fluctuations in wood size through the seasons gives it broad applications. It is applied extensively from the grandeur of Japanese Temples and Castles to small toys and puzzles.What you can gain1. Make a simple wooden puzzle to take home2.
