Cleveland International Piano Competition Semi-Finalist Jonathan Mamora performs live in Guzzetta Recital Hall for a celebratory conclusion of his UA residency made possible by Piano Cleveland and The Kulas Foundation.Jonathan Mamora is an acclaimed Indonesian-American pianist and educator, celebrated for his expressive playing and commitment to service through music. With a strong foundation as a church musician, Mamora has built an impressive international performing career, earning top prizes at major piano competitions such as the Hilton Head and Scottish International Piano Competitions, as well as praise for his Carnegie Hall debut. He continues to appear at prominent venues and festivals worldwide, collaborating with leading orchestras and returning to Weill Recital Hall in 2025.
In addition to his extensive performance career, Mamora is dedicated to music education and community engagement. He has served as a church music director, collaborative pianist, and multi-instrumentalist, and has taught at renowned institutions including the Eastman School of Music and The Juilliard School. Currently Director of Keyboard Studies at La Sierra University, he is pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts at Eastman, guided by distinguished mentors, and remains active as a conductor, accompanist, and educator.
