Live Jazz at Steveston Hub featuring Kristian Naso's Hidden Gems 5tet...
This band plays a mix of deep cuts from Hard Bop and Soul Jazz to New Orleans street beats, Afro-Cuban grooves, and Afrobeat rhythms. The tunes are hidden gems that folks really should hear, as are the musicians in the band, most of whom are from Richmond and who are all regular players in Vancouver's Jazz and live music scene. The band is looking forward to infusing Steveston with some soulful sounds!
Kristian Naso - trumpet
Paco Ha - tenor saxophone
Francis Naluz - guitar
Raphael Augustin - bass
Curtis Andrews - drums & percussion
There will be a CASH BAR at the event so remember to bring cash to buy drinks!
A huge thanks goes out to Darren and the Steveston Hub crew for their commitment to community engagement and for bringing live music to Steveston!
