So first of all, hopefully this is going to be the first of many Street Photography photowalks in and around Krakow...
My name is Chris Harley, I graduated in Photography in Edinburgh Scotland...
I was a Professional photographer for over 20 years, freelancing for newspapers and agencies, and doing all sorts of things in-between, some interesting and others not so interesting, including photographing Royal visits for the Scottish Executive.
No person is an island ?️... It's good to meet up with like minded individuals, who share your passion for street photography...
And what better way to do it than a photowalk, where you can mingle with others, share ideas or styles and maybe a challenge to try something different...
The Photowalk:
- The genre... Street Photography
- The event starts at 11am...
- Open to everybody, from newbies to the more accomplished...
- Start and finish at the Adam Mickiewicz statue in the main square...
- We'll stop at various points and regroup along the way, but feel free to wander around by yourself or with others as we go...
- Gear... bring whatever you're happy shooting with (okay, maybe not an AK47... lol), be it your mobile phone or a normal camera... something that's easy to use, preferably one camera and one lens... but it's up to you? It could be a 5x4 plate camera, as long as it's hand held... lol ;-) Ps. no tripods!
- Wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions and a must is comfortable footwear...
- Be respectful of others in the group and most importantly to those that we will be photographing along the way...
- Sign up, come along and enjoy being with other like minded people, and be inspired... *BONUS it's FREE to take part!*
