🪔 Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is one of the most important festivals celebrated in India. It symbolises the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, and hope over despair. During the celebrations, traditional diya lamps are lit, homes and streets are decorated with colourful rangoli patterns, and families come together to enjoy food, music, and dance.
🪷 Mareena, in collaboration with Tabačka, the Embassy of India in Slovakia, and The Common Pulse, invites you to a community celebration of Diwali in Košice! Join us to discover Indian traditions and culture and meet people who are happy to share a piece of their world with us.
Get ready for an evening full of colours, flavours, music, and lights. You will have the chance not only to discover Indian culture but also to take part in a variety of activities.
