Pomysł na ten projekt narodził się wśród winnic Dolnej Austrii, podczas letniego festiwalu hören.
Tam Wassim Ibrahim towarzyszył na arabskiej laudzie tekstom Kathariny Hacker i Emine Sevdi Özdamar – słowom o pozornej prostocie, które przy uważnym słuchaniu otwierają głębokie spojrzenie w ludzką duszę.
Zestawione z duchową muzyką w języku aramejskim i arabskim, ponadczasową i pełną tęsknoty za tym, co boskie, teksty tworzą niezwykłą harmonię słowa i dźwięku.
Podczas krakowskiego spotkania Wassim Ibrahim zaprezentuje materiał z albumu Noch nie gestorben, a Sylvie Rohrer będzie recytować teksty na żywo, przywracając im bezpośredniość i intensywność spotkania scenicznego.

Die Idee zu diesem Projekt entstand in den Weinbergen Niederösterreichs beim Sommerfestival hören.
Dort begleitete Wassim Ibrahim auf der arabischen Laute Texte von Katharina Hacker und Emine Sevdi Özdamar – Worte von scheinbarer Einfachheit, die beim aufmerksamen Zuhören tiefe Einblicke in die menschliche Seele eröffnen.
Im Dialog mit geistlicher Musik in aramäischer und arabischer Sprache entfalten die Texte eine besondere Wirkung. Die Musik ist zeitlos und getragen von der Sehnsucht nach dem Göttlichen. So entsteht eine außergewöhnliche Harmonie von Wort und Klang.
Bei diesem Konzert in Krakau präsentiert Wassim Ibrahim das Album Noch nie gestorben, während Sylvie Rohrer die Texte live rezitiert und ihnen im unmittelbaren Zusammenspiel von Stimme und Musik neue Präsenz verleiht.

The idea for this project was born among the vineyards of Lower Austria during the summer festival hören.
There, Wassim Ibrahim accompanied texts by Katharina Hacker and Emine Sevdi Özdamar on the oud – words of apparent simplicity that, when listened to closely, offer profound insights into the human soul.
Set alongside spiritual music in Aramaic and Arabic, timeless and imbued with a longing for the divine, the texts form an extraordinary dialogue between word and sound.
At this Kraków concert, Wassim Ibrahim will present material from the album Noch nie gestorben, while Sylvie Rohrer brings the texts to life through live recitation, creating an immediate and intimate encounter between spoken word and music.
