Wednesday, October 7th @ 6-8:00pmLocation: O’Kelly Chapel (parking at For Garden’s Sake)
Step into an evening of creativity, plants, and the beautiful art of kokedama. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the traditional Japanese technique of creating a living plant arrangement with a ball of soil wrapped in moss—a unique way to bring greenery into your home without a traditional pot.
Your evening will begin with Persian tea, traditional cookies, and fruit. The instructor will demonstrate the process from start to finish, sharing techniques and inspiration for creating your own kokedama. Then, you’ll have the opportunity to get hands-on and make your own living creation to take home, with all materials and supplies provided.
Come spend a tranquil evening surrounded by plants, learn the art of kokedama, and leave with a beautiful living creation of your own.
Instructor: Sholeh Dadressan (For questions, contact [email protected] or 919-742-0010)
