Learn how to dominate local search, build a recognizable brand, and turn visibility into customer
About this Event
Event Concept
Some businesses seem to be everywhere. People recognize their name, see them on Google, hear about them from friends, and think of them first when they need that service.
This event will look at how local businesses build that kind of recognition.
Kobzza will share practical marketing strategies businesses can use to become more visible and recognizable in their market. Then James and Liam will share the Yard Dawgs side of the story: how they grew the company, built a recognizable local brand, and what they’ve learned along the way.
The goal is not to make this a long marketing presentation. It should feel social, useful, and conversational.
Why Yard Dawgs?
Yard Dawgs gives us a real local example instead of talking about marketing in theory.
They've built a recognizable home service brand, and James has already worked well with Kobzza in the webinar format. This time, having both James and Liam there gives us the opportunity to talk about the company from the founders' perspective and connect marketing with the actual experience of growing a business.
Who We're Inviting
Primary audience:
Calgary business owners and decision-makers, particularly home service businesses and local service companies.

What attendees should leave with
Keep the educational promise simple. Attendees should walk away understanding:
- What makes a local business recognizable
- How Google, reviews, content, branding, and community work together
- A few marketing changes they can make right away
- What Yard Dawgs did as they grew their brand
- Why being known can be just as important as simply being found
