Monthly Work Sessions are typically held at 5 p.m. on the FIRST MONDAY of each month. If the meeting date falls on a holiday, the meeting is moved to the next non-holiday working day.Executive Sessions are held just prior to the start of these meetings, but are closed to the public.
The Knox County Board of Education holds regular work sessions and sessions at 5:00 PM at the Summer Place Boardroom, 500 W. Summit Hill Dr., Knoxville, TN (with entrances near Wall Ave and Walnut St).
Speaking at Meetings: Individuals who wish to address the Board during the public forum must register in advance by contacting the Board Secretary at 865-594-1623 prior to the registration deadline noted for each session.
