About this Event
Yes, the Government Buys That Too
Government Contracting for Small Business Owners
Laundry services, landscaping, catering, HVAC repair, office supplies. Whatever you sell, there's a good chance the federal government buys it, and small businesses win that work every day. In this hands-on workshop, you'll get a clear walkthrough of how government contracting works and what it takes to get started.
You'll learn how to:
- Tell whether your business is a fit for federal work
- Get legally eligible, including SAM.gov registration and choosing your NAICS codes
- Find real opportunities and present your business with a capability statement
- Decide which contracts are worth going after and plan your next 90 days
You'll leave with a completed fit snapshot and a step-by-step checklist for what to do next.
