Event overview:
This two-day in-person workshop is designed to cover the fundamentals of Knowledge Assets specifically in the public sector. Attendees can choose to attend one or both days of the bootcamp.

19th June, day one - the basics of Knowledge Assets:
- What are Knowledge Assets?
- The importance of Knowledge Assets
- Identifying Knowledge Assets
- Knowledge Asset management, protection and exploitation
- The challenges in government organisations in Knowledge Asset Management
20th June, day two – commercialising your idea:
- Market research and evaluation
- Routes to market
- Exploitation strategies and options
Who should attend?
- UK central government departments
- Arm’s-length bodies
- Public Sector Research Establishments
It excludes:
- Local government organisations
- NHS secondary and tertiary care sectors (such as NHS Trusts)
- Publicly-owned commercial organisations
Relevant job titles:
Innovation managers, data scientists, business development, technologist, procurement managers, finance managers. This is not an exhaustive list.
Attendees do not need any prior experience of Knowledge Assets in order to attend as this is aimed at upskilling people who are new to the field of tech transfer or Knowledge Asset management.
You will be required to register with your work email address, which will be used to verify that you work for an in-scope organisation. If you do not meet the above eligibility criteria, your registration will be cancelled.
