Emerging Life Church invites you to Know Your Rights: A Community Voter Education Forum, a free, nonpartisan community event designed to help voters better understand their rights and confidently navigate the voting process.
Whether you are a first-time voter, have questions about changes in the voting process, need information about voter registration, or simply want to become a more informed citizen, this forum is for you.
Our panel of experienced civic and community leaders will share practical information, address common questions and misconceptions, and help attendees understand the resources available to South Carolina voters.
Topics will include:
- Understanding your voting rights
- Voter registration and checking your registration status
- Understanding the voting and election process
- Finding your polling place and viewing your sample ballot
- Accessing reliable voter information and resources
- Common voter questions, myths, and misconceptions
Following brief presentations from our panelists, attendees will have an opportunity to submit questions during a moderated Q&A session.
