Join us on Saturday, Dec. 12, for KNKX's 10th Anniversary celebration at Town Hall Seattle! We’ll kick off the evening with award-winning NPR journalist Ailsa Chang, in conversation with KNKX Morning Edition host Kirsten Kendrick. Ailsa will share her journey from litigator to journalist, insights into her role on All Things Considered, and what it means to find your voice in media, followed by a short Q&A. Then, enjoy a performance by jazz trumpeter Thomas Marriott and his Special Quintet, featuring pianist Orrin Evans, bassist Trevor Ford, tenor saxophonist Troy Roberts, and drummer George Fludas. Marriott, a prominent figure in West Coast jazz with multiple award-winning albums, will deliver an unforgettable musical experience. Proceeds benefit KNKX.
