Ready to take your knitting skills to the next level? This intermediate-level knitting workshop is designed for makers who already understand the basics of knitting and are ready to tackle their first wearable project—a knitted cap.
Supply List:
- Size 8 knitting needles
- #4 medium weight yarn (1 skein will complete the project, but I recommend 2 – 4 different colors to get the most learning from the class.
Learning Objectives:
- Knit a cap
- Learn ribbing and reducing stitches
- Learn beginning and ending colors
Participants should be comfortable with basic knitting skills before attending.
ArtLink can provide knitting needles and yarn if needed, but quantities and colors are limited. Participants are encouraged to bring their own size 8 knitting needles and #4 medium-weight yarn if possible. Solid-colored yarns are recommended to help you see your stitches clearly.
