A community of entrepreneurs, not a training company. In English; no preparation, you only speak if you want to.
WHO WE ARE
KL Business Leaders Toastmasters Club is a community of entrepreneurs, founded in 2021. We are not a training company. We are business owners who come together to help each other level up, and along the way our members have found growth and real friendships.
WHO YOU WILL MEET
Our members include the founder of a law firm, a litigation lawyer with 34 years at the bar, a dentist who founded her own clinic, the co-owner of a bakery brand, co-founders of an Islamic learning centre and of a chicken farm, a managing director and advisory accountant, a company director, business and transformation coaches, and a senior lecturer at Universiti Malaya. Guests don't need to own a business.
WHAT HAPPENS ON THE NIGHT
- Prepared speeches: members speak, often about running a business.
- Evaluations: an experienced member gives each speaker a short evaluation: what worked, what to improve.
- Table Topics: answer a surprise question on the spot. Guests may try one, never forced.
- Expert Sharing: a member shares a real business lesson, then takes questions. (Past talk: "From a dream to 42 students: what it took to build iLuvQuran Cyberjaya".)
- Networking with fellow business owners after the meeting.
FIRST TIME? Just come and listen. No preparation needed.
