A little vintage, a little sparkle and a whole lot of Kitschmas!
Join McKinney native, artist and author Jennifer Perkins for an afternoon of making miniature holiday magic. Create your own tabletop Christmas trees using a treasure trove of new and vintage ornaments, tiny figurines, festive embellishments and unexpected containers.
Choose from tins, mugs, planters and more then build a holiday scene that suits your style - nostalgic Christmas charm to full-on maximalist merriment. Jennifer will guide you through selecting, arranging and assembling your treasures.
All supplies are provided, and all skill levels are welcome.
Pop-up shopping with Found by Karen
Our host, Karen Klassen, owner of Spoons and The Garage, will be popping up with Found by Karen. This is her collection of handmade embellished shirts and unexpected wardrobe treasures. Her philosophy? “Collected, not coordinated.” Think favorite shirts, vintage collars and pieces with a story—ingredients for a wardrobe that feels uniquely your own.
Jennifer will also have a selection of her creative wares available for holiday shopping.
Make a festive day of it!
McKinney’s annual Holiday Tour of Homes takes place the same weekend. Tour the homes in the morning, then join us at The Garage for an afternoon of crafts and shopping. The bar will be open and drinks will be available for purchase.
Bring a friend and make something you’ll look forward to unpacking every December.
Holiday Tour of Homes tickets are sold separately and are not included in workshop admission.
