About this Event
Kit Rice is a Brighton-based singer, songwriter and producer whose music blends soulful vocals, emotional songwriting and cinematic electronic production. With roots spanning pop, R&B and electronic music, he has built a sound that feels both intimate and expansive, with a particular love for the late-night energy of liquid Drum & Bass.
His forthcoming album, Deep Waters, is a deeply personal journey through queer love, longing, vulnerability and self-discovery. Written across different places and recorded in Brighton, the album brings together an international collective of producers and vocalists, with tracks mixed and mastered by Drum & Bass legend Nu:Tone.
With support from BBC Introducing and over 200,000 streams across the project, Kit is bringing Deep Waters home to Brighton for an exclusive album listening party ahead of the next chapter of the project, Deep Waters Live, launching in February 2027.
Join Kit in the intimate setting of the Bottom's Rest pub in Hove on Wednesday November 25th, 6.30-8pm where he will introduce the project and we'll listen to the album in full. Kit will also have vinyl copies for sale.
Free entry, but as it's a small venue, we recommend booking to reserve your seat.
