Come together for a heartwarming evening full of singing together, connection and surrender during this special Kirtan & Cacao Ceremony at Svaha Yoga Amsterdam!We begin this journey with a lovingly prepared ceremonial cacao to open the heart.
Then we dive deep into the healing power of the music.
Kirtan is the joint singing of mantras and sacred names; an ancient form of Bhakti yoga where the voice is the vehicle to find silence in the head and joy in the heart.
No singing experience is required — your voice is good as it is.
The kirtan is led by Dhanyo Scholten and friends, who take us on harmonium, guitar and percussion.
The pure (and creamy!), ceremonial cacao is prepared with care and introduced by Bert Lambrechts.
CACAO HAS AN INVIGORATING EFFECT AND STIMULATES BLOOD CIRCULATION. IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR TAKING MEDICATION, WE RECOMMEND CHECKING BEFOREHAND WHETHER CACAO IS SUITABLE FOR YOU.

* Date: Saturday 7 November
* Time: 17:00 – 20:00
* Walk-in: From 16:40 (20 minutes before the start). Arrive on time so you can easily find your spot and land.
* Location: Svaha Yoga – Downtown Shala, Begijnensteeg 1, Amsterdam
* Bring: Comfortable clothes in which you can sit comfortably. Svaha Yoga has pillows and mats, but feel free to bring a bottle of water or your own favorite shawl.
