About this Event
Colin Miller will be giving a Kirkcaldy Regeneration update, including an update on the study underway by The Vacant Shops Academy on vacant units in Kirkcaldy town centre.
Craig Holmes will be providing a lettings update, including the requirements of Awaab's Law.
Our first guest speaker will be Forrest Hamilton. Forrest works with Timberwise and will be giving a practical talk on damp, rot and condensation — issues that almost everyone involved in property will encounter at some point. He’ll look at some of the common causes, what warning signs to look out for, and the options for dealing with and preventing problems. It should be a really useful session for landlords, property investors, developers and homeowners alike.
Our second guest speaker is Declam Macaloney who will take part in a relaxed question-and-answer session.
Declan has built an impressive property business at a young age, with experience across refurbishments, flips, buy-to-lets, serviced accommodation, commercial conversions and assisted sales.
He has plenty of experience to share about finding off-market opportunities, raising finance, building relationships with investors and learning from deals that haven’t always gone to plan.
The Q&A session will give those attending the chance to hear more about Declan’s property journey and to put their own questions to him.
Kirkcaldy Property Network was launched in February 2026 to create an informal place for property investors, developers, landlords, businesses, professionals and others with an interest in property to meet, make connections and share ideas.
Our meetings are friendly and informal, with plenty of opportunity to meet other people before and after the main session.
Whether you are an experienced investor, just starting out, work in the property sector or simply have an interest in what is happening in Kirkcaldy, you are very welcome to attend.
We look forward to seeing you there.
