Create two beautiful Kinusaiga baubles, traditionally known in Japan as Kimekomi when working on 3d objects, using a traditional Japanese fabric technique - no sewing required! 🎄🧵In this relaxed and beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn how to transform pieces of beautiful fabric into unique decorative baubles, carefully tucking the fabric into a prepared form to create intricate patterns, textures and colour combinations.
You'll learn how to:

Each guest will create two baubles during the workshop, giving you the opportunity to experiment with different fabrics and designs and create a pair of decorations to enjoy at home or give as a special gift.
No previous experience is needed.
All materials are provided, including everything you need to create your two baubles, but you're very welcome to bring along your own favourite fabric scraps if you'd like to make your pieces extra personal.
Kimekomi is a wonderful way to give treasured fabric scraps, old clothing or beautiful offcuts a new lease of life. You could even incorporate a small piece of a favourite garment or meaningful fabric, creating decorations with a little story of their own. ❤️
