What if the imperfections were the very things that made your art beautiful?
Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi, this hands on sculpture workshop explores the beauty of brokenness, repair, and transformation. Create your own sculptural piece and bring it to life with contrasting textures and golden details that celebrate every crack, line, and imperfection.
Work with clay to shape a unique sculpture, experiment with forms, and explore the idea of bringing different pieces together. Let your creativity guide you as you transform an imperfect creation into something striking and meaningful. Your finished artwork does not need to be flawless. It just needs to tell its own story.
Kintsugi is rooted in the idea that damage and repair are not things to hide. They become part of an object's history, adding character and beauty rather than taking it away.
Whether you love sculpting, enjoy exploring Japanese art, or simply want to try something different, this workshop offers a chance to create with intention and discover beauty in unexpected places.
Come shape, transform, and create a sculpture that celebrates the art of imperfection. Because sometimes, the most beautiful things are the ones that carry their stories openly.
