Kinkell Byre Bat Walk
Dear Bat Enthusiasts
Scotland is home to 10 bat species – all of them are small insectivores, most commonly found in trees, buildings, and caves! The Neurogenetics of Vocal Communication group offers biweekly bat walks around Fife to see, listen for, and learn about these amazing flying mammals. You can plan to see bats flying around during their evening hunt and listen in on their echolocation via bat detectors - though we never quite know where they will be (no paid bat actors).
We will meet at the flagpole and depart 30 minutes after the event starting time! Tea and coffee will be available after the walk.
